Initial marketing solution

I began to think about how to market my exhibition. I wanted to link it in with my chosen era the 50’s. I came up with three ideas of how to market the exhibition and I experimented with different techniques to see what worked best.

This is one of my initial experiments. I held a photo shoot to capture the image however I did not want this to be my final image. I was inspired by the 1950s style magazine covers and the typical 1950s poses. I used the title ‘Fashion loves art’ as it is the title of the exhibition so this is to advertise. I am pleased with the outcome but for my final piece I will combine this idea with my second experiment.
For my second experiment I wanted to try the photography before I took it further. I thought about the ‘Fashion loves Art’ exhibition title carefully and I came up with the idea of framing the fashion as though it was in an art exhibition. I asked Anna to pose in a way in which I had seen 50’s models do whilst holding the frame to border her outfit. To take this idea further I will dress my model in 1950s clothes and with 50s hair and makeup.
